HubSpot is a remarkable platform built around the Inbound Methodology, ensuring that marketing, sales, and service teams have the tools they need to achieve their business goals. The platform continuously evolves with an agile approach, so it stays ahead of trends and remains the go-to solution for growing businesses.
We love that HubSpot listens to its community, rolling out monthly updates that enhance the platform, address user needs, and keep everyone connected.
As we kick off 2026, we have selected our top updates to help you start the year with clarity and confidence. These are the features we believe will have the biggest impact as you set priorities, refine processes, and build momentum for the year ahead.
1. Conditional Lead Scoring with “AND” rules
Use Case: In the past, lead scoring was limited to single criteria, which often meant using lists or workflows as workarounds to create more advanced logic. You can now apply conditional scoring rules using “and”, meaning points are only awarded when multiple criteria are met. This applies to both fit and engagement scoring, helping teams prioritise leads with much greater confidence as they head into 2026.

2. See the number of emailable contacts in Segments
Use Case: When planning email campaigns, you need to know how many contacts in a segment will actually receive your message. This update shows you the number and percentage of emailable contacts directly within the segmentation process, removing the guesswork and helping you refine your audience before sending.
This means no more building a segment only to discover later that a portion of your contacts are not eligible to receive emails. By seeing this information upfront, you can adjust your criteria early, set clearer expectations, and run more accurate and effective email campaigns from the start of the year.
Available with: All Hubs and tiers
3. Branded Email Templates
Use Case: Creating on brand marketing emails is now faster and far less manual. You can apply your company’s Brand Kit, including logos and colours, directly to HubSpot’s default marketing email templates. This means you can start with a professionally designed template that already reflects your brand, rather than customising from scratch every time.
Previously, teams either had to work with generic templates or spend unnecessary time adjusting styles to meet brand guidelines. With branded email templates, you can confidently send polished, consistent emails in minutes, helping you move quicker without compromising brand consistency as you kick off the year.

Like we said, HubSpot loves to listen to its users, so not all updates are immediately live. Many start off in Beta where you have the opportunity to test and comment on these changes.
If you don’t see the update in your portal, you can enrol in the Beta. This is an easy and quick step to do. Take a look at the step-by-step process below for instructions:
Good to know: While the majority of features in Beta do go live, HubSpot doesn’t guarantee that every Beta will go live and may still be removed.
