Written by Alison Leishman | 03 Sep 2025 5:39:16 PM

TL;DR

  • Unified Data at the Core: HubSpot’s 2025 Fall Spotlight pushes “unified data” front and centre, making it easier for businesses to bring customer data integration and custom integrated systems into one powerful platform.
  • Smarter AI Across the Board: The Breeze suite and Smart CRM deliver true AI-powered insights and automation. Think smart prospecting, advanced sales agents, and intelligent recommendations tailored to your business.
  • Self-Service and Personalisation: With features like the Assistant editor, Agent Editor, and a combined Breeze Marketplace, HubSpot now empowers teams to design, test, and launch custom agents and assistants—no code required.
  • Next-Level Data Handling: Data Hub and Data Studio democratise data blending and reporting, allowing marketers and non-technical users alike to leverage multiple data sources for actionable insights, all while maintaining stellar data quality.
  • Marketing & Sales Evolution: Marketing Hub updates bring dynamic segmentation (Segments), campaign creation (Marketing Studio), and AI-powered personalisation together. The new Sales and Commerce Hub features equip sales agents with best-in-class automation and meeting tools.
  • Loop Marketing Over Funnels: The loop marketing framework demonstrates how customer engagement is ever-evolving; express, tailor, amplify, and evolve mean brands stay relevant no matter how customer journeys change.

Every year, as we prepare for INBOUND, we’re excited to learn more about the updates that will be released on the main stage. This year, there are two highlights.

Firstly, HubSpot is getting a new look, but don’t worry, the sprocket is not going anywhere. However, do not be surprised by some magenta updates on your dashboards as well as a sleeker, cleaner look.

The second is more impactful to the functionality, and that is the theme and product updates. Building on the brand promise of Easy, Fast, Unified, the focus this year is on Unified.

HubSpot is the only platform that unifies all your data and gives your team the AI-driven insights to know everything and do anything

In the AI world, unified data is not just a ‘nice to have’ but is the difference between AI that transforms and AI that creates expensive confusion.

Breeze

The Breeze customer agent is available in all Professional and Enterprise portals and will now:

  • Qualify prospects and trigger next-best actions: smart prospecting
  • Handle voice conversation
  • Full customer integration: pull history, update records
  • Built in coaching to test it
  • Multiple customer agents in one portal - you can have a sales agent and support agent, for example
  • Assign to a calling channel, and if resolution is not reached, then route the caller to the assigned team
  • Enhanced human handoff experience
  • Authenticate visitors
  • New customisation options, including updates to quick actions, session timeouts and handoff messages
  • Testing experience makes it easier to test, improve and confidently deploy your customer agent

Breeze Assistant and Custom Assistant is now available from Starter through to Enterprise in all portals and is going to make your life even easier.

Currently, Breeze Copilot provides basic AI help for individual tasks with a limited understanding of your business and is limited to HubSpot data only. Now it will provide ChatGPT-like AI that understands your data and connects to your entire business through the ability to create custom assistance. This includes updates like:

  • A fully rebuilt experience and accesses Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Slack.
  • Conducts complex analysis on business questions - not generic responses
  • Remembers your preferences
  • Will learn from your use of the system and get better at making recommendations
  • Available on mobile and desktop
  • And the ability to create custom assistants!

Breeze Studio

To unlock custom assistance, let's look at Breeze Studio, where you can manage and customise Customer agents and Custom Assistants using:

  • Assistant editor - where you build your AI assistant from the ground up - defining what it knows and how it should respond in conversations. This is now live!
  • Agent Editor -  the control centre for your Agents Editor, where you control how agents operate autonomously, what knowledge they use, and how they make decisions while performing tasks. This is for the prebuilt out-of-the-box agents, which you can make work how your business needs them to. On the road map, you will be able to build these from the ground up, too!

Breeze Marketplace

Get quick and easy access to powerful HubSpot-built Agents and Custom Assistants that you can tailor to your business, so that you can start automating tasks and improving productivity. These include agents such as Closing Agent, Blog Research Agent, Social Post Agent, RFP Agent, and more. There will also be custom assistants. Important to note that the marketplace will be combined and has the advantage of being able to search by your role.

Breeze and Credits

The good news is, standard data enrichment will no longer consume credits as long as you have core seats. New features including smart property enrichment will still use credits.

From the current agents in beta, only Data Agent will consume credits

  • You'll use 10 credits to generate one prompt for one record
  • Customer agent, prospecting agency, executing a breeze action in a workflow and enabling intent signals to create a company or monitor a company for one month will also consume 10 credits.

Customer Agent is 100 credits to handle one text-based conversation.

And finally, Prospecting Agents use 100 credits to enable monthly monitoring of one contact for outreach opportunities and 10 credits to generate results from deep research completed on one company.

Data Hub: the evolution of Operations Hub

Operations Hub was built for your technical team, whereas Data Hub is built for all your teams; it’s built to be understood and used by everyone. Data sets will be activated across the platform and not just for reporting. and your tech stack becomes accessible across the CRM.

Smart CRM

Legacy CRMs often leave businesses with fragmented data, poor adoption, and slow results. HubSpot’s Smart CRM changes the game by unifying customer data, teams, and tech stacks to deliver fast time to value and a complete customer view.

Built on three growth pillars: unifying customer data, unifying teams and unifying techstacks, the Smart CRM provides a single, reliable source of truth, ensures simple and intuitive adoption, and connects seamlessly with your wider tech stack, allowing businesses to be fully operational in as little as six weeks.

What makes it truly “smart” is the infusion of AI. HubSpot’s Smart CRM delivers actionable intelligence, process automation, and personalised experiences. It also introduces in the Fall updates:

  • Self-generating data,
  • Flexible CRM views such as charts, boards, and timelines, and
  • Real-time smart insights like catch-up cards, digest notifications, and contextual column explanations.

  • For quotes, this includes a single-page quote editor, AI-generated quotes, Quote templates, Quote approvals and quote reporting.
  • It allows for tiered and flat rate pricing and includes the AI Closing Agent. This requires seats: professional ($85 per seat per month) and Enterprise ($140 per seat per month)

Loop Marketing

Inbound marketing is being disrupted - the old playbooks are being played out. Our customers look to us to help them implement and execute the growth playbooks that help them drive business.

It’s time to reframe the playbook, which includes Tailor, Amplify, Evolve and Express.

The buyer journey is changing, with 60% of Google searches resulting in zero clicks, where people are turning to LLMs for answers and coming to you more prepared than ever. The volume game is dead, and in the AI world, we need to be focusing on taste over tactics with our strategy. This is the context and perspective that you bring to your content.

This means we’re talking about replacing funnel thinking with Loop Marketing, which comprises four strategic stages in an ever-repeating loop:

  • Express: this talks to expressing your brand identity as only you can. Define your taste, tone, and point of view before you bring AI in.
  • Tailor: this means tailoring your messaging to your customers’ needs. Use AI to make personal, contextual, relevant interactions at scale.
  • Amplify: refers to meeting buyers where they are. Diversify your content across channels for both humans and AI.
  • Evolve: means it is essential to evolve your content and strategy. Iterate quickly and more effectively.

AI gives you the power to monitor performance as it happens, and get instant recommendations on what to adjust. You can now learn and optimise while campaigns are running, not after they're finished.
