HubSpot Product Updates: Here’s what March has to offer

It’s HubSpot product update time and we’ve got three of our favourite updates for the month ready to go.

HubSpot is an incredible platform, designed with the Inbound Methodology in mind. This means that the tool is ever-evolving, using an agile approach to ensure the platform remains a cutting-edge solution for marketing, sales, and service teams, and provides them with the tools and capabilities they need to achieve their business goals.

The thing we love the most about using HubSpot is that they listen to their community and implement monthly updates to continually enhance the platform, stay ahead of industry trends, and solve for their user’s needs.

Each month we pick our top three updates for the month and show you how and why we think these updates will make a difference in your business.

Top three HubSpot Product Updates for March 2024:

  1. Report on and analyse Playbooks
Playbooks are the hidden gem of HubSpot and this new update makes them even more powerful

  2. List Notifications
You can now get notifications when changes are made to lists, there are some great use cases for this.

  3. Add working hours to your inbox and Help Desk
You can now set user working hours based on the user’s time zone so that service reps don’t get assigned tickets out of hours

An additional three March HubSpot Product Updates

HubSpot releases several updates a month, some small and some big. The top three covered in the video were our favourite for the month, but below are ones we are also excited about.

  1. Legacy CTA Migration
HubSpot will be sunsetting the old CTA tool at the end of the year and they have created an easy migration tool which helps you migrate your old CTAs to the new one. We recommend you put together a project plan to move things over. If you haven’t discovered it yet, the new CTA tool is amazing!

  2. New design on cookie banner
The new cookie banner design has been in beta and has gone live now, the thing we love about this new update is that can now completely customise the design. This is going to be a great addition in line with the Google Consent v2 setup requirements

  3. Correctly sized images option
You can now review and optimise the size of your images from the Optimise tab in the website/landing page builder. For anyone who works on websites and knows the importance of image size for page speed and SEO, this is a small but might one.

Our Head of Design, Ryan Wallis had this to say about this update::

“Using images on your website that are larger in scale compared to the actual size they are rendered at, in your browser, can seriously affect your website performance. The Click to fix option, in the optimise panel does all the work for you. Potential hours of work done in minutes.”

How to access Beta updates

Like we said, HubSpot loves to listen to its users, so not all updates are immediately live. Many start off in Beta where you have the opportunity to test and comment on these changes.

If you don’t see the update in your portal, you can enrol in the Beta. This is an easy and quick step to do. Take a look at the step-by-step process below for instructions:

Good to know: While the majority of features in Beta do go live, HubSpot doesn’t guarantee that every Beta will go live and may still be removed.
