HubSpot Product Updates: the road to INBOUND starts here

HubSpot is a remarkable platform crafted with the Inbound Methodology at its core. We love that HubSpot listens to its community, implementing monthly updates to enhance the platform, stay ahead of trends, and meet user needs.

If you’ve been looking at anything to do with HubSpot recently you’ll know the HubSpot INBOUND conference is happening next week and we’ll be unpacking all the new updates on our blog and social for you. But before we get there, let’s take a look at the updates HubSpot has done in the last month.

Top three HubSpot Product Updates for September 2024:

  1. The new Form Builder
    This new feature is our favourite one this month! You can now break down longer forms into manageable parts, re-direct visitors to different elements based on their responses, and more!

  2. Dynamic Sequences
    This new feature is going to give your reps the ability to send personalised automated emails and prioritise manual outreach steps only for the contacts who are showing engagement.

  3. The new sales workspace
    We loved the Prospecting workspace but this new update makes life better for salespeople by giving them one space to manage their full sales funnel from Leads to Deals.

Additional September HubSpot Product Updates

HubSpot releases several updates a month, some small and some big. The top three covered above were our favourites for the month, but below are ones we are also excited about.

  1. AI assistant to build contact lists
    HubSpot is making list building easier by giving you the ability to use the AI assistance to create lists. All you have to do is describe the details of the list you want to build and the tool will generate the filters for you. Just remember, AI isn’t perfect so be clear with your prompt and check that the filters align with your thinking.




  2. Company Health Score Builder
    This one is going to make all our lives better. This new feature solves a key challenge for customer success teams, it will help better understand how customers are engaging with them. 

    In a nutshell, the Company Health Score is a new tool that allows customers to assign weights to properties and contact activities and then combines them into a score which is displayed on the Company record.

One of our Inbound Success Strategist, Kerryn Mans, had this to say about this update:

“I’ve spent many hours building custom reports and calculated properties to help clients get a view of their customer's health. This new update is a game changer that’s going to give our clients the ability to get a real measure of how their customers are engaging with them and help identify trends and opportunities.”

How to access Beta updates

Like we said, HubSpot loves to listen to its users, so not all updates are immediately live. Many start off in Beta where you have the opportunity to test and comment on these changes. 

If you don’t see the update in your portal, you can enrol in the Beta. This is an easy and quick step to do. Take a look at the step-by-step process below for instructions:

 

Good to know: While the majority of features in Beta do go live, HubSpot doesn’t guarantee that every Beta will go live and may still be removed.
