HubSpot Product Updates: here’s what’s new and mobile

It’s HubSpot product update time and we’ve got three of our favourite updates for August ready to go.

 

HubSpot is a remarkable platform crafted with the Inbound Methodology at its core. This ensures that the tool continuously evolves, employing an agile approach to remain the best solution for marketing, sales, and service teams - equipping them with the tools and capabilities to achieve their business objectives.

We love that HubSpot listens to its community, implementing monthly updates to enhance the platform, stay ahead of trends, and meet user needs.

Each month we pick our top three updates for the month and show you how and why we think these updates will make a difference in your business.

Top three HubSpot Product Updates for August 2024:

  1. Approvals for deal pipeline (on Sales Enterprise)
    You can now easily ensure that key elements on your deals are reviewed and approved before they can progress.

  2. User out of office on the Inbox and help desk
    You can now set user’s out of office status for all users. This means no more missed messages when team members are away.

  3. New Statistics Card
    You can now tailor your insights directly on your record page by creating your own metrics using the new Statistics card.

Additional August HubSpot Product Updates

HubSpot releases several updates a month, some small and some big. The top three covered above were our favourites for the month, but below are ones we are also excited about.

  1. Marketing home on mobile
    The mobile app is an amazing tool that gives you access to HubSpot on the move. Up until now, the features available on the app have been limited to sales and services teams. Earlier this year, they introduced social posting through the app, and now HubSpot have introduced marketing home on the app to streamline access to essential tools and insights, eliminating distractions and providing enhanced focus for you to drive growth and success.

  2. Data Quality Weekly Digest
    Data quality is key for any portal and understanding the details of where your data can improve is vital, this new update gives you an easy way to unpack this data. This is a simple notification you can get set weekly but has a big long-term impact.

  3. Workflows Conversion Reporting (on Enterprise)
    If you have an Operations hub Enterprise you can now get detailed conversion reporting on each branch of your workflow. These new insights empower you with data to help you understand the effectiveness and impact of your workflows.

  4. Mobile Lead Management
    The new lead management tool has changed the way salespeople use HubSpot and now this tool is accessible on mobile! We’re super excited about this one as it enables a standardised approach to prospecting, aligning the desktop and mobile experience, enabling continuity between channels and streamlining the process to become more effective at qualifying leads.

How to access Beta updates

Like we said, HubSpot loves to listen to its users, so not all updates are immediately live. Many start off in Beta where you have the opportunity to test and comment on these changes. 

If you don’t see the update in your portal, you can enrol in the Beta. This is an easy and quick step to do. Take a look at the step-by-step process below for instructions:

 

Good to know: While the majority of features in Beta do go live, HubSpot doesn’t guarantee that every Beta will go live and may still be removed.
