HubSpot is a remarkable platform crafted with the Inbound Methodology at its core. This ensures that the tool continuously evolves, employing an agile approach to remain the best solution for marketing, sales, and service teams - equipping them with the tools and capabilities to achieve their business objectives.
We love that HubSpot listens to its community, implementing monthly updates to enhance the platform, stay ahead of trends, and meet user needs.
Each month we pick our top updates for the month and show you how and why we think these updates will make a difference in your business.
Here are our favourite HubSpot Product Updates for July 2025:
- Basic clone option for records
Use Case: If you have ever needed to clone a record in HubSpot you know this is a big (small) update. This feature lets users create a new record based on an existing one, including any properties and associations set up in the object's create form.
This means that if you, for example, have a deal for a retainer and a client is going to renew, you can simply clone the deal with all the elements rather than having to rebuild the elements from scratch.
Available with: All hubs, Starter and above
2. Podcast slide-in CTA template
Use Case: If you’ve built your Podcast on HubSpot, you can now create a strategic slide-in CTA that allows users to easily experience and find your podcast episodes. You can even use Smart content to align the episode with the buyer journey.
Available with: Customer Platform and Content hub Professional and Enterprise
3. Line item revenue reporting
Use Case: You can now easily report on Line Item revenue without having to build complex custom reports. This feature allows you to use the Sales Analytics tools to report on your revenue based on line items… and it uses billing start dates instead of deal close dates for revenue timing.
Available with: Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise

How to access Beta updates
Like we said, HubSpot loves to listen to its users, so not all updates are immediately live. Many start off in Beta where you have the opportunity to test and comment on these changes.
If you don’t see the update in your portal, you can enrol in the Beta. This is an easy and quick step to do. Take a look at the step-by-step process below for instructions:
Good to know: While the majority of features in Beta do go live, HubSpot doesn’t guarantee that every Beta will go live and July still be removed.
